Climate Origins
How do we get these climates in these areas?

Tropical climate

The climate is moist and warm in these areas because this climate type is also known as the equatorial climate. It is given this name because it is located at the equator which is the point in the world that gets the most heat/sun. If there is more heat here than any other place in the world that means there is more evaporation. All the lakes, rivers and seas surrounding these areas are so warm from the sun that they evaporate and rise into the sky, condense and become clouds. This leads to a lot of precipitation and this is how the tropical climate is a perfect climate for growing many plants and for being the habitat to many animals.

Tundra climate

The climate is cold and snowy in these areas because the tundra climate is the furthest away from the equator. This climate gets no heat or sun for the whole year because the sun's rays don't shine there. The tundra climate is basically just one big sheet of ice. For 6 months in the year this climate is dark because the sun shines on the other side of the world and it is in the shade. Hardly any evaporation happens here as well so this area doesn't experience a lot of precipitation and if it does experience any it is frozen raindrops (snow).
